Regenerative Medicine Utrecht

RESCUE

The Regenerative Medicine Center Utrecht is proud basis of the RESCUE COFUND international PhD program, a unique joint program between the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMCU), Utrecht University (UU) and the Hubrecht Institute on Regenerative Medicine. This program provides a substantial training network of excellent academic institutions and industrial partners to create a new generation of research experts.

A cohort of 29 ambitious PhD candidates (early stage researchers, ESRs) has taken up the challenge to contribute to a revolution in the field of regenerative medicine. Their goal is to drive regenerative medicine research towards valuable new applications in medicine. The multifaceted training program provided by our network ensures that the ESRs will learn about the opportunities and obstacles in the domains of all the involved partners.

More information on the program, the researchers and their projects is available on https://www.uu.nl/en/research/rescue-cofund/about-rescue.
