Award for Jorik van Rijn
On the 4th of May, the Dutch Society for Stem Cell Research (DSSCR) organized its 11th annual meeting. The aim of this meeting is to unite people from the Dutch stem cell community, thereby promoting exchange of ideas, data and future plans. This is an especially great environment for young investigators to present and discuss their projects in selected oral presentations.
This year, the second place for best presentation was awarded to Jorik van Rijn, PhD student at the Regenerative Medicine Center Utrecht. He received a €500 travel award for his talk on modelling lipid malabsorption in intestinal organoids.
