Dutch radio “BNR Beter” about 3D printing in health care
The Dutch radio programme “BNR Beter” reported about the developments of 3D research in health care and the current applications of 3D printing in patient care. Razmara Nizak, PhD candidate and Technical Medicine fellow at the UMC Utrecht orthopaedics departments, explains the current applications of 3D printing in the UMC Utrecht and stresses the potential of 3D bioprinting for the future. “In five years 3D printed patient specific protheses will be the standard in daily health care at academic medical centers. On top of that 3D bioprinting is the future”.
